Our employment eligibility verification service, is a check of two federal government databases to confirm a new hire's eligibility to work in the United States:

• Social Security Administration (SSA): Verifies that a new hire’s SSN is valid, matches the person’s name.
• Department of Homeland Security (DHS): U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services: Validates that a person is approved to work in the U.S. either by being a U.S. citizen or having an approved work visa.

As a Federally Designated Agent for the E-Verify Program (formerly the Basic Pilot Program) since 2003, GIS can provide you with an automated system for performing this verification either from within our Pangea Onboarding platform or as a stand alone solution. Using information from the form I-9 to run the verifications, our EEV solution will provide you with Verification or Request Resolution information electronically, allowing you to maintain a compliant, organized and paperless verification process from our web-based system.
